School meetings

All members of staff are involved in School meetings. Meetings are chaired by the Head of School.

Industry Advisory Panel

The Industry Advisory Panel advises the School on its teaching and research programs, particularly with regard to their relevance to local and international industry needs.

Research Committee

The Research Committee advises and make recommendations to the School and Head of School on matters relating to research and innovation and postgraduate research training and supervision.

Safety Committee

The Safety Committee establishes and oversees procedures necessary for the safe, reliable, secure, and well documented running of our School.

Education Committee

The Education Committee reviews units and courses for relevance and demand; prepares and presents cases for curriculum changes to Faculty; represents the School and its programs in Faculty Board meetings and other working groups and forums; reports on teaching and learning at School meetings, Industry Advisory Panel gatherings and other forums as required.

Staff Student Consultative Committee

The Staff Student Consultative Committee consists of representatives from the Electrical Engineering (EE) and Information Technology (IT) undergraduate programs, postgraduate students – both Higher Degree by Coursework (HDC) and Research (HDR), and one member from the University Engineers' Club (UEC), and is chaired by a member of EECE academic staff.
